The Church Mouse
The console has a little cutout at the bottom for the control cable in a previous installation. Unfortunately, the cutout is right out in the open in our installation, but fortunately, it provides a home for the church mouse, provided by Beth B.
Here's what the organ looks like presently. We left a gap in the middle where some of the Dulciana bass pipes were going to go, but we ended up installing them behind, and the gap remains. I have a new plan in my head (to go on paper soon) to put the Open Diapason basses in front of the railing in a decorative way. Should look cool, and also free up some space behind.

I have to know where Beth got that mouse - it is identical to one that my cat loves and has about shredded to death. I can't get rid of it until I get a replacement and haven't been able to find one! No problem if it's someplace local as my sister lives there now and can get it for me. You should meet this cat - he's a 17 pounder!! The two that I had when you knew me before have finally died :(
