Typical Theater Organ Console

Here's what a theater organ console usually looked like. They almost always used this "horseshoe" arrangement of stop tabs that sort of wrap around the organist. The keyboard and pedalboard dimensions are the same as for church organs. The organ in this picture is apparently not in its original home, as this does not look like any silent movie theater I've ever seen.

I'm 99.9% sure that this picture is from Casa Loma in Toronto. The organ was transplanted some years ago from an old theatre in the city.
