Bourdon Restoppering... Removing the Pipes

The microphone for the organist's monitor was resting on top of the first pipe to be removed, so I climbed up to move that first. Peter took all the pictures.

Now lifting out the first pipe:

Now to try to figure out how to get it down out of the organ loft:

Turns out down the hatch was the best way (originally I thought I'd pass them over the balcony railing, but it was difficult to get them there). Peter was below to catch them:

Success! Now all I have to do is fix them....
